Next to the reception is the bar including the cafeteria, a restaurant, a TV room, an alcove, a reading room, a massage and wellness room and a gym with cardiovascular equipment, from which one has a wonderful view of the courtyard through large glass windows.

The hotel kitchen offers an extensive breakfast buffet including self made jams, a large selection of bread and fresh fruit salad.
The focus of the evening meal is on indigenous dishes. We serve meat and fish dishes as well as vegetarian food.

Small shops and restaurants are to be reached by walk, approximately 1 km. In the sea pool of Calheta (2 km)  swimming is safe all over the year.

The (artificial) beach is sandy. Here you find beach cafes, a promenade, a supermarket and the marina.

You can visit the capital of the Island, Fuchal, the famoous lava pools of Porto Moinz and other coastal villages in the south of the island by public bus (please note that on weekends bus service is limited).
